Lever hoists are generally used when it is required to hoist the load upwards where the user is positioned and has access to operate the Ratchet lever. Similar to a Chain block being used for hoisting from ground level, a Ratchet Lever Hoist is commonly used to tension, pull and position loads, horizontally.
The most common way is to use the top hook and a beam clamp or trolley. To hoist the load upwards, the clamp or trolley should be secured to a suitably rated beam and the lever hoist attached using its top hook. Then, ensure the safety catch is closed. Hoisting can be initiated by cranking the ratchet on the unit, which lifts the material as the chain passes through the ratchet hoist unit. By clicking the directional switch to the down position and continuing to crank operate the ratchet in the same way, this lowers the load.
It comes with a protective handgrip that prevents manual slipping, avoiding any chance of hurting fingers. Reinforced frame and safe automatic brakes make Ratchet Lever hoist safe and reliable. Double guide roller gives Ratchet Lever greater resistance making it an ideal choice for inclined loading. Spark Resistant materials are used to make it safe for explosive/mining atmospheres.
Indef Ratchet Lever Hoist can easily hoist weights from the range of 0.75 Ton to 9 Tons.
